PRESS-NEWS JOURNAL, CANTON, MO. LATE DEATH I NOTICE PERRY D. VAUGHN Mr. Perry D. Vaughn, age 59, of La Grange, Mo., died Monday, January 12, 2009, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, I1. He was born March 3, 1949 near La Grange a son of Homer Earl and Myr- tle Marie Taylor Vaughn. He married Connie Jean Rhodes on June 29, 1969 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in La Grange. She survives. Vaughn graduated from La Grange High School in 1967 and was an Army veteran serving in Viet- nam from July 1969 to July 1970 and spent a total of three years in the Army. He enjoyed hunting and fish- ing and was a member of Dover Baptist Church. He had 35 years of service at Wakonda State Park. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Connie of La Grange; his mother Myrtle Vaughn of the Lew- is Co. Nursing Home in Canton; two sisters, Evelyn Evans, La Grange and Alice Davidson and her husband Russell, Paloma, I1; one brother Alvin Vaughn and his wife Mary, La Grange; one niece Angela Burton, Quincy; seven nephews, Scott Evans, La Grange; Brad Davidson and his wife Jennifer, Quincy; Jimmy Dean Vaughn and his wife Martha, La Grange; Mi- chael Vaughn, Maywood; Gregory Vaughn and his wife Chris, Quincy; Da- Lewis County Nutrition Week of Jan. 19 Monday - Pork burger, yams, cauliflower, cheese, peaches.
