April 30, 2009 4t NOTICE Notice of Shareholders Annual Meeting LaBelle Manor, Inc. Pork is safe - Flu is not! A new hybrid influenza in humans is dominating the news and is of legitimate concern to the public. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as- sures the public, however, that a person cannot get what is generally labeled as 'swine influenza' from han- dling or eating pork prod- ucts - it is not a food-borne illness. "Consumers should not assume the terminology used to describe the cur- rent influenza outbreak has any bearing upon the safety of eating pork and pork products," said Charles E. Kruse, president of Mis- souri Farm Bureau. "In fact, the World Organization for Animal Health contends the new virus should not be called 'swine influenza' at all, but rather the 'North American influenza' using the same approach as in the past for naming influenza pandem- ics for regions where they first occurred. Other of- ficials are referring to the virus by its scientific name of H1Nl." Notice is hereby given that the annual meeting of the stockholders of the LaBelle Manor, Inc., will be held at the LaBelle Manor building activity room, in the City of LaBelle, Mo., at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, the 7th day of May 2009. The purpose for which this meeting is held is to elect three directors to serve for the ensuing year and for any other buisness that may properly come before the meeting. May 7, 2009 4t' USDA Rural Development increase income limits USDA Rural Develop- ment increased the income limits on the Guaranteed Rural Housing Program. Before that date the income limits were established by the number of individuals in the household (i.e. one person, two person, etc...). The new limits are estab- lished into two groups; one to four person house- holds and five-eight person households. Now a one to four person household can have an adjusted income up to $73,600.00, while a five to eight person household can have an adjusted in- come up to $97,150.00. With these changes it should open up doors to many individuals who did not previously qualify. To qualify for this program, applicants need to find an approved lender that par- ticipates in the Guaranteeg Rural Housing program. If the application is favorable the lender then refers it ta USDA Rural Developmenf for the guarantee. This program is a 30 year, fixed interest rate loan with up to 102 perceni financing. There is no PMt) and usually the loan is sold on the secondary market P. with some lenders retaimng servicing. Anyone wanting. to purchase a home shouKl look into this program. It is a great way to obtain that dream home you have al, ways wanted. ': For more information contact Janine A.
