on May 8, 2009. An open
house was held at the Com-
fort Inn on Saturday May 9,

friends attended.
. The couple was married
on May 8, 1959 at the St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in
Canton, Mo. Robert Tuley
and Lucille (Tuley) Lippa
were the attendants.
Theodore Berhorst
is the son of the former
John and Regina Berhorst
of Canton, Mo. and he at-
tended LaGrange School in
LaGrange, Mo.
Donna Berhorst is the
daughter of former Eugene
and Josephine Raleigh of
Canton, Mo. and she at-
tended St. Patrick High
School in St. Patrick, Mo.
They are the parents of
Robert (Bob) Berhorst of
LaGrange, Mo., William
(Bill) Berhorst and his wife
Maria, Virginia Berhorst,
and Theodore (Alan) Ber-
horst and his wife Nancy of
Canton, Mo.
They have nine grand-
children - Billy Joe (B J),
Kassidy, and Arianna Ber-
horst of Canton, Mo., Jason
Berhorst of Kansas City,
Mo., Daniel Berhorst of
Philadelphia, Mo., Mathew
Berhorst of Ursa, I1., Ash-
ley Berhorst of Lakeview,

Progressive Neighbors club
met on May 12 in Canton
for lunch. Delods Herrick
was hostess.

where vice-president Betty
Hendrickson opened the
business meeting leading
the Pledge to the American
Flag.
Roll call was answered
with Memorial Day activi-
ties. A card was signed by
members for Charlotte
England who is recovering
from back surgery.
The remainder of the
afternoon was spent play-
ing UNO.
The next meeting will
be June 9. Members are
to meet at the Methodist
Church to car pool for a trip
to Bonaparte, Iowa.

May 16, 2009 for a fam-
ily reunion at the Ameri-
can Legion Hall in Canton.
Attendees from four gener-
ations enjoyed an afternoon
of delicious food and won-
derful conversation. Many
photos and memories were
shared. Family members
traveled from eight U.S.
states California, New
Jersey, Indiana, Wisconsin,
Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and
Missouri.
