Bunker Hill Farm Club
The Bunker Hill Farm Club met in
the Durham Community House with
Kathleen and Cindy Clickner hosting.
A carry-in dinner was enjoyed by 20
members and guests.
President Cleta Mae Van Tress
called the afternoon meeting to order.
Chaplain Kathleen Clickner read an
article by Dorothy Henry "My
Ltst to God Chair."
The September roll call will be a
garden swap. New committees were
announced as follows: menu, Rilla
Nesbitt and Merry C• Hinton; social
hour, Mary Annetta McCutchan+and
Nell Little; chaplain, Martha Hinton.
A donation was made to the
WilUamstown Park for a shelter house.
Others present were Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Munzlinger, Charles Little; Chester
Hinton and granddaughter, Deanna,
Evert Hinton, Mrs. George Nesbitt,
Hubert Nesbitt and Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Williams.
L.C. Nurdng Home Auxiliary
The regular monthly meeting of the
Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary
was held Monday, August 5 at 2 p.m.
with 15 members present and a gueK,
Nathan Gorrell of Quincy.
President Charlene Clatt presided at
the meeting and opened with the club
prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.
President Clatt asked if the
executive committee could meet some
day for lunch and decide on a
nominating committee as .new officers
will be needed for next year. It was
decided to meet Tuesday, August 27.
Marilyn Job, activity director,
announced they had taken nine
residents to the LaBelle Rodeo parade
and all enjoyed themselves and they

August and will be hostess at churcn
services on Sunday and help with the
birthday party Thursday, August 29.
Cakes will be baked by Lona
McCampbell, Frances Willis, Dorothy
Nelson and Betty Meyer. Residents

The Buds and Blossoms Club held a
regular business meeting at the close
of the flower show July 31. President
Jim Ellison presided. Rajah Maples
led the pledge to the flag and the
National Council Pledge was repeated.
The leader, Betty Leeser, thanked
the members for helping with the
show, both for the arrangements and
having birthdays are Ioris Hamill, Ula the horticulture entries and for being
Waiters, Helen Pruett, Lou Ella Smith, guides to the guests who came to view
Bessie Fish, Buzz Harris, Nellie the show.
