Oct. 24 4t Sell, Buy, Trade, Try PNJ Classifieds Deaths & Obituaries Ill Leo Bruenenn Leo Bruenenn, 62. of West Point died Monday Oct. 28, 985 in St. John Hospital in Springfield. Bruenenn was associated with the Hill-Dodge Bank- ing Company of Warsaw. Leo Irving Bruenenn was born Feb. 17, 1923, in West Point, a son of John and Maud Vornkahl Bruenenn. He married Wilma Burton. April 4, 1943 in Palmyra. He owned and operated the West Point Grocery Store for a number of years before becoming manager of the Progressive Grocery Store later known as the Super Valu store in Carthage. He had been associated with the bank for the past 17 years. Bruenenn was a member of the West Point Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lanny of Hamilton, Denny of Quincy and Jess of Carthage; a daughter, Donna Eisenbeiss of La- Grange; a brother, Earl Bruenenn of Barry; a sister, Marvis Whitledge of Kansas City, seven grandchildren and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Services were conducted on Thurs- day in the West Point Christian Church by the Re:,. Phillip Hedgcock and Bro. Charles Webb. Burial was in the West Point Cemetery. Neva Bridges Mrs. Neva Bridges, 75, of East Peoria, fil. died Monday Oct. 28, 1985 at her residence. Mrs. Neva D. Bridges was born March II, 1910, in Newark, Mo., a daughter of Ross and Lulu Boulware Long. She married Ralph W. Bridges on May 21, 1940 in Canton. He died Oct. 13, 1950 in Aledo, Ill. Mrs. Bridges was a resident of Decatur for more than 30 years. She received a bachelor's degree at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, and her master's degree from Milliken University in Decatur, Ill. She taught school for more than 35 years in Missouri and illinois. She was a member of the United Methodist C'httrch of Washington, Ill and of Chapter HG of PEO in Washington. She was a charter member of Chapter IF, PEO of Decatur; a member of Macon County Delta Kappa Gamma and the Macon County Retired Teachers Association (and state and national). Also a member of Decatur Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Memorial Services were held Wed- nesday, at the United Methodist Church in Washington, with Rev. Robert Wiedrich officiating. Burial of cremate remains was in Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, Mo. Survivors include one daughter Leta Jean (Mrs. Gary) Wooley of East Peoria; two granddaughters; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one sister. Memorial contributions may be made to Culver-Stockton College or the Heart Fund. Mary Lake Mrs. Mary Lake, 87, of Prairie View Rest Home, Lewistown, formerly of LaGrange, died Friday Nov. 1, 1985 in the home. Mrs. Mar), Lloyd Lake was born Oct. 7, 1898, in Hannibal, a daughter of Ed and Nora Wiseman Keck. She married Carl D. Lake June 14, 1916, in Quincy. He died in 1967. She was a member of the Methodist Church of LaGrange and Eastern Star Chapter 114 of LaGrange. She had lived at State of Missouri County of Lewis ) ss. Oct. 17 4t Prairie View Rest Home for six years. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Delmar Lake of Lewistown; four grandsons: three great grandchildren; and other relatives. She was preceded in death also by her parents, and a son. Funeral services were held Sunday in the Ball-Coder Funeral Chapel in Ewing, conducted by the Rev. George Braden. Burial was in Nelsonville Cemetery. David Justice David Justice 27, of Earlham, Iowa, formerly of Edina. died Monday Oct. 21, 1985, from injuries received that same day in a truck accident near Baker. Calif. Mr. David Roy Justice was born April 27. 1958, in Decatur, Ill., a son a Leo L. and Elda Brotherton Justice. He married Pamela Kay Bugh May 12, 1979. Mr. Justice was a 1976 graduate of Knox Co. R-1 High School. He later graduated fro a technical school in Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Justice was employed by Kelly's Lime and Rock Co., and Cardweil and Cardwell Lumber Co., both of Edina. He had worked in trucking since 1981, and, at the time of the death, was employed by Schneider National Transportation Co. of Green Bay, Wis. Mr. Justice was a member of the Edina Christian Church and the National Rifleman's Association. Surviving are his parents, of Edina; a daughter, Amanda Jo Justice of Lewistown: a brother, James Justice of Hurdland: and two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Colleen) Parr of Mayport, Fla., and Mrs. Larry (LaDonna Callahan of Atlantic, Iowa: and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Services were conducted Saturday in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina by the Rev. David Howald. Burial was in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville. Bruenenn was associated with the Hill-Dodge Bank- ing Company of Warsaw. Leo Irving Bruenenn was born Feb. 17, 1923, in West Point, a son of John and Maud Vornkahl Bruenenn. He married Wilma Burton. April 4, 1943 in Palmyra. He owned and operated the West Point Grocery Store for a number of years before becoming manager of the Progressive Grocery Store later known as the Super Valu store in Carthage. He had been associated with the bank for the past 17 years. Bruenenn was a member of the West Point Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lanny of Hamilton, Denny of Quincy and Jess of Carthage; a daughter, Donna Eisenbeiss of La- Grange; a brother, Earl Bruenenn of Barry; a sister, Marvis Whitledge of Kansas City, seven grandchildren and other relatives. Burial was in the West Point Cemetery. Neva Bridges Mrs. Neva Bridges, 75, of East Peoria, fil. died Monday Oct. 28, 1985 at her residence. Mrs. Neva D. Bridges was born March II, 1910, in Newark, Mo., a daughter of Ross and Lulu Boulware Long. She married Ralph W. Bridges on May 21, 1940 in Canton. He died Oct. 13, 1950 in Aledo, Ill. Mrs. Bridges was a resident of Decatur for more than 30 years. She received a bachelor's degree at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, and her master's degree from Milliken University in Decatur, Ill. She taught school for more than 35 years in Missouri and illinois. She was a member of the United Methodist C'httrch of Washington, Ill and of Chapter HG of PEO in Washington. She was a charter member of Chapter IF, PEO of Decatur; a member of Macon County Delta Kappa Gamma and the Macon County Retired Teachers Association (and state and national). Mr. David Roy Justice was born April 27. 1958, in Decatur, Ill., a son a Leo L. and Elda Brotherton Justice. He married Pamela Kay Bugh May 12, 1979. Mr. Justice was a 1976 graduate of Knox Co. R-1 High School. He later graduated fro a technical school in Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Justice was employed by Kelly's Lime and Rock Co., and Cardweil and Cardwell Lumber Co., both of Edina. He had worked in trucking since 1981, and, at the time of the death, was employed by Schneider National Transportation Co. of Green Bay, Wis. Mr. Justice was a member of the Edina Christian Church and the National Rifleman's Association. Surviving are his parents, of Edina; a daughter, Amanda Jo Justice of Lewistown: a brother, James Justice of Hurdland: and two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Colleen) Parr of Mayport, Fla., and Mrs. Larry (LaDonna Callahan of Atlantic, Iowa: and other relatives.
