Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Off of Canton
celebrated their 50th wedding anni-
versary Sunday, Nov. 3, in St. Joseph
Church. Monsignor Alois Wilmes of
O'Fallon, cousin of Mr. 0rf, heard the
couple repeat their vows. Father Pat
Hoffman and Msgr. Wilmos co-cele-
brated Mass.
The ladies of St. Ann's Altar Society
served Mr. and Mrs. Orf and their
families a breakfast in Marquette Hall
following mass.
An open house was held from 2 to 4
p.m. in the American Legion Hall
where family and friends gathered for
the festivities. Dora Mae Rice attended
the guest book, and Anne, Tracy and
Joey Fryer served refreshments.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Graves are
residing in Monroe City after a late
summer wedding on the lawn of her
parents home.
Miss Robin Lynn Tiemann, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tiemann of
Ewing, and Dave Graves, son of Mr.
and Mrs. LaVerne Graves of Palmyra,
were married by the Rev. Tully
Achord of Hannibal Saturday, August 3
at 6 p.m. in a double ring ceremony.
Miss Cindy Gottman, Mrs. Georgia
Rothweiler and Miss Shannon Roth-
weiler, aunt and cousin of the bride, all
of Monroe City, and the Rev. and Mrs.
Paul Mills of Hannibal, provided the
music.
The bride was given in marriage by
her father.
Miss Shawn Tiemann of LaGrange,
cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Mrs. Trent Tiemann, the bride's sister-
in-law, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Carla and Tina
Graves of Palmyra, sisters of the
bridegroom..

of the bride, read scripture. Bible
bearer was Tracy Rothweiler of
Monroe City, cousin of the bride. Alton

The Canton Christian Church is
having their annual bazaar Saturday,
Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the
church fellowship hall.
There will be baked foods, Christmas
crafts and other craft items. White
elephant items will be sold and a quilt
given away.
For early morning shoppers home-
made donuts and coffee will be sold.
Lunch will be served at 11 a.m.
Homemade chili or vegetable soup,
. ham or cheese sandwiches, salad bar,
pie and drinks will be offdred.
